Just today, I am looking for a converter of .m4a file to .mp3. When I ask Mr. Google, it showed me a software to download, since I think I don't wanna install it because I will only use it once, I decided to modify my search and add an online to it. Then this site came to me, media-convert.com. A free online file converter.
It can convert documents, archives, movies, images, sound, and tones. The source files can be from your local computer or from a website. After successfully converting your file, you have the choice to download it or host it to them for 24 hours or 120 days. You can also download it thru WAP. It's a great site, Try it! I'll place it in my bookmarks if I were you.
Happy file converting! :P

Low memory load audio player
I conducted a small comparison test between Windows Media Player(WMP) and XMPlay. The comparison is done in Windows Vista Business edition and plays the same mp3 file, David Cook - Always be my Baby(Studio version).mp3 with the same setup of equalizer. It shows that XMPlay is way low memory load when playing, WMP consumes 18K+ of memory load while XMPlay only consumes 1.8K+. XMPlay even had Amplification adjuster set to +9.0db, which consumes added memory load.
What is XMPlay?
A low resource and compact audio player that plays MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, CDA, etc. No installation required for this application, just extract it to a folder and you're done! The folder doesn't have to be in your Program Files folder, your Desktop is good.

Download Day misunderstood
There was a misunderstanding regarding the Download Day of Firefox 3. According to the Mozilla Blog, the specific time of the Download Day is June 17th, 10am PDT.
Bad planning!
They only stated June 17, 2008, no timezone stated. How about the people in other timezones? They expect that it would be June 17th in their own timezone, but it is not.
A lesson must be learned...
If you make a website and you will make a release date, place the specific time and timezone.
